The next type is diabetic proximal neuropathy. It is also called as diabetic amyotrophy. This commonly produces such kinds of pain feeling in several parts of body such as thighs, hips, and buttock. Besides the pain feeling, diabetes neuropathy symptoms in proximal type are weight loss, abdominal swelling, and weakness of muscles.
The last type is diabetic focal neuropathy or mostly called as mononeuropathy. This type commonly affect on specific nerves on the body. The affected nerves usually located in the legs, torso or face. The diabetes neuropathy symptoms in focal type are pain in the foot, thigh, or abdomen, paralysis on half of face, and unfocused or double vision.
